Limited edition of 10 worldwide
The Rpaige “Skyscraper” watch, designed by Mark Carson, uses the same case as the iconic Rpaige “Crash of 1929” watch. However, the Skyscraper case was engineered for a new Swiss DB9 movement and only 150 of these cases are available worldwide. To make the “Skyscraper” even more sought after and desirable, we designed a very limited edition of only 10 Art Deco inspired dials – “The Broadway Encore” edition.
The “Broadway” dial is silver toned with midnight blue Art Deco numbers. The hands are our own designed “Chrysler Building” style hands in silver, and black and luminous paint.
The Movement is a new 17 jewel Swiss DB9, finished with Black Plates and Blued screws.
The case measures 49.7 mm wide by 57.5 mm tall and 12.7 mm thick. Even at this size, the angled lugs and flat bottom make the watch sit snugly on even average to smaller wrists.
The case is 316L Surgical Grade Stainless Steel. The watch features a sapphire crystal and an exhibition back which shows off the movement’s decoration.
Water resistance is rated at 50 meters (150 feet). The watch is paired with a black leather strap with white stitching and each watch will be sent in a zippered travel case.
This is your chance to own a true Masterpiece of Art Deco design as a modern wristwatch. The Skyscraper edition is limited to 150 watches worldwide, but the “Broadway Encore” edition will only be a series of 10. The watches are numbered on the side of each case.
