Otis Lee Jacobs enlisted in the Marine Corps 7 July, 1918 at the
Marine Base on Parris Island, S. Carolina. After two months boot
training there, he was ordered to the Navy Yards in Washington, D. D.
There he served until his honorable discharge 8 March, 1919.
