BIO:Service record of George Clarence Jacobs: Inducted into the U.S.
Army at Des Moines, Iowa and then to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO and Camp
Polk, LA. In 1951 shipped out to Hokaido, Japan via Panama Canal. Duty
at Camp Shimamatzu, Sappora and Camp Chitose. Reached Inchon, Korea
Christmas Day 1951. Aug. 1952 discharged honorably after 4 years in
Reserve Army ending 6 year commitment to Armed Forces.
